Brian has
recorded a number of awarded winning CDs as well as featuring as guest artist
on many additional recordings. His solo recordings 'A Piper's Dream' launched
in 2000 and 'Fort of the Jewels' the stunning follow-up in 2004 has enabled Brian
to takes his place along side the great Uilleann pipers of the tradition

His earlier recording with fellow McNamara family
members 'Leitrim's Hidden Treasure' is regarded as a milestone recording having
been voted Best Traditional Newcomer in 1998 after its launch in that same year
by a reader's pole in Irish Music Magazine. It also featured in the Top-4 recordings
in the 1998 Best of the Year Annual Reviews of the USA publication 'The Irish
Echo' and 'The Irish Voice'. Brian's solo recording 'A Piper's Dream' has
likewise featured in the 'Best of the Year Annual Reviews' and his most recent
recording 'Fort of the Jewels' has simply been referred to as 'Greatness'. Brian
has also notably produced all three of these recordings establishing himself firmly
